The Cheshire Dream

This post is literally “out of a dream.”
I awoke at 12:45 AM and immediately wrote this down:

It reads:
“The most amazing dream … A gigantic house owned by an ancestor. People, some relatives, wandered around in it. It was filled with folk art and furnishings from all times, mostly 1940s & ’50s. Colorful racks of clothing & art and painted lamps and talking creatures that looked like nothing I could relate to in the animal world — like animatrons. I asked relatives if I could bring in researchers to investigate it — if not scientifically, at least assess it artistically — it had to be worth countless dollars. There were old phones, board games, things to look through like kaleidoscopes, and the rooms descended into basement grottoes w/chipped paint or above ground open-air shambles with missing walls or hidden floors. It was scary and amazing. I couldn’t believe it was in my family. Everyone just enjoyed it.
‘How did great-grandmother collect ALL this on a simple farmer’s wife’s budget?’ I asked.
‘You ask a lot of questions, don’t you?’ someone said.
I defended my right to do that.
Then I woke up.”

Then I drew this:
