I sort of feel the same way about Medium. And yes exposure is daunting, but damn the torpedoes and maybe someday something will resonate with readers. What fuels me is lingering curiosity — things that change day-to-day and month-to-month. There are two ways I get ideas: list them out (which is pretty cumbersome) or follow an idea, stay with a draft (and in the case of a current blog post, ditch the draft if it’s not leading toward a structure I’m happy with) at least to rewrite (wholesale or not) and edits. I tend to edit less in Medium, and prefer to draft in word processing software. Hope this helps!
