Circles Feel Hopeful
What comes from blank pages?
Yesterday was blank because I decided to rest. When I said “100 Days of Words and Art” I didn’t mean consecutively. It was a wise decision.
Now, allow me to introduce to you the young man who used to draw every day:
It is good to be him again.
This world is going down a dangerous path.

Today’s image was spurred by these words:
Searching for simplicity. Resisting the natural urge to embellish.
I start with the thick BLACK PEN. Allowing the occasional crosshatching. With circles, I feel lighter. Lines are monotone, weighty.
Coloring heightens it. Drawing instantly provides concentration. BEING PRESENT.
What wisdom/advice/consolation do I have to share?
